Preparada / Ready

Otra semana con miles de cosas por hacer. Por fin parece que el otoño ha llegado para quedarse, así que he cambiado la ropa en los armarios y he comprado algunas cositas. En el fondo creo que no quiero tener mucho tiempo para pensar estos días. Esta semana se ha hablado de cáncer en todos los medios y es un tema que me toca muy de cerca. Nunca he hablado del tema aquí, pero después del nacimiento de mi primer hijo, me diagnosticaron melanoma. Por suerte después de extraer el lunar y dos operaciones, todo quedó resuelto. Cuando nació mi hija, me tuvieron que volver a operar de otro lunar en el abdomen, ya tenía células melanocíticas, pero de nuevo lo pillamos a tiempo. El próximo lunes volverán a quitarme otro lunar en el hombro, pero esta vez es distinto. Me aconsejaron vigilarlo y yo he decidido operarlo ya. No quiero esperar a ver que pasa como ocurrió con los otros dos. Estoy preparada aunque la incertidumbre después de la biopsia que siempre me pone nerviosa. 22/11/12 los resultados son favorables; no hay células cancerígenas esta vez. ¡VIVA!

Another busy week around here.  It seems that autumn is here to stay, so I´ve been organizing and buying some clothes. I think I just didn´t want to have much time to think. This week it´s been all about cancer in the media, unfortunately it´s something that touch me. After my son was born I was diagnosed as having melanoma. After two surgeries everything was fine. When my daughter was born I had another big surgery to remove the one I had in my abdomen, It already had cells changing but I was lucky againg. Next Monday I´m having the third mole remove, but this time something change because I decided to do it before it´s too late. I don´t want to wait for something to happen. I´m ready although It´s the uncertainty after the biopsia wich It´s making me nervous. Thanks if you read it all. Have a nice weekend! :)
